Minnesota West's emergency notification system allows students to receive quick cell phone and/or email notifications for campus-related emergencies.

Students and employees receive notifications via cellphone and/or email about weather-related and campus-related emergencies that pose a threat to safety or disrupt campus operations.

Students & employees are automatically registered using information they have previously provided to the college.

If you are a new student, it may take a week after classes begin for your account to be set up. 

To update your profile, simply log in and set up your account preferences.

Note: OUTREACH should be checked to receive text messages and/or emails. If you're receiving more messages than you'd like, you can adjust your preferences by logging in and updating your subscriptions.


Weather and Emergency Announcements:

Students should listen to local radio and television stations for college and campus weather related announcements. Web alerts are posted on the college website as well as information on how to subscribe to text alerts.
