This educational opportunity is made possible by a joint effort between Minnesota West, Sanford Health Systems, and the City of Luverne. The center is set up with hospital and clinical standards that allow you to learn in a real-world setting.
Programs & Courses
The Dental Assistant Program at Canby offers hands-on training and lectures. Practice on mannequins and real patients to gain the knowledge needed to excel in this career!
The Medical Assistant program teaches fundamental skills and offers small class sizes for optimal learning. Medical assistants help physicians examine and treat patients. They perform routine tasks that keep an office running efficiently. Our program outcomes yield high pass rates, job placements, and graduate satisfaction.
The Medical Laboratory Technician program prepares you for employment in the medical, clinical, research, and public health laboratories. An MLT collects and receives patient specimens and performs laboratory tests.
The Radiologic Technology program trains you to gain the knowledge and skills to perform various radiologic procedures. Learn through didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Skip the waiting list and start learning with small class sizes and personalized attention.
The Surgical Technology program will have you ready for the workforce in as little
as two years. We pride ourselves on a high program pass and employment rate! Our students
