Carpentry, Diploma
The Carpentry Diploma prepares you for a career as a carpenter in residential and commercial construction. In this program, you will learn building skills and study the concept of green building. Green building focuses on the whole building process in each phase of construction.

Carpentry, Certificate
The Carpentry certificate program gives you an opportunity to get into the workforce while giving you an overview of basic carpentry skills. The certificate program is designed to offer high school students the opportunity to complete the certificate before exiting high school.
Career Opportunities
A carpenter prepares, trims, and molds various materials. They fit structural frameworks for buildings, encompassing walls, floors, and doorframes. Evaluate and substitute impaired frameworks or related structures and fixtures. Provide guidance and supervision to construction assistants and laborers.
A Master Carpenter is overseen by the technical director. They manage the construction, installation, and rigging of scenery. Typically, they oversee a team of carpenters during construction and may also maintain scene-shop equipment and supplies.
Journeyman carpenters perform carpentry tasks for residential and commercial projects, such as interpreting blueprints, crafting wood fixtures, setting up windows and door frames, and fixing wooden structures. They are proficient in using hand and power tools in compliance with safety regulations is required.
